I listened to this one more of loyalty to the author than being invested in this series. I honestly don’t know how I feel about the lead characters. There are just so many similarities to the Charlie Davidson characters. The narrator is even the same. Do I just write it off like Vince Vaughn playing Vince Vaughn in whatever movie he is in? Or maybe just being the author’s particular brand/art.
I did enjoy this book. I especially enjoy the relationship with mother and daughter. Mostly because my daughter is the same age. I’m not sure if this is the conclusion of the series but it certainly could be. The ending was good and loose ends were tied up.
Of all the current books in this series, this one was my favorite.
