This dream jumps scenes but are parts of the same dream thread.
I’m in a small booth, no table just stone benches against stone wall in a corner. There is a man and a toddler in a dress in the booth with me. The toddler is climbing around having a good time. Behind the man a rectangle section, around 10 inches tall, the length of the wall, head height opens up. At first it’s just an empty black hole. Then there is steam followed by lava rising quickly. It starts to run down the walls. I’m wedged into my spot but the man is able to move. We get him out of the booth and I hand the toddler over to him. Now that they are out I can work on freeing myself.

I’m stumbling around a manicured yard. It’s night. A large stone mansion with lights on is up on a hill. I see the man from earlier passed out on the lawn. The toddler is face down hanging off a bench not far away. I pick up the toddler. Now she is closer to an infant in size. The baby is not responding. She is warm, she is breathing and has a pulse. I wrap a blanket around her and carry her with me to get away.

My husband and kids are in a parking lot. I hand him the baby and tell him we are taking her with us. Suddenly I shoot hundreds of feet up in the air. I see the beach and ocean. I keep going higher and start to panic. I tell myself that I have done this before. I know what to do. I know that this is higher than I have been before but force myself to take a deep breath, relax and glide down with my arms open wide.

I have the baby in my arms. My husband and kids are walking towards our car. I’m trying to decide where I want to sit with the baby since we have no car seat. We are getting in when I see an elementary age girl strapped in a chair surrounded by men in the back of a well-lighted semi-truck. The girl does not seemed distressed but I don’t trust the situation. I call out to the girl, “Hey, honey how are you?” I can’t get to my phone quickly, so I grab my daughters. “Let me just take a picture for you mom.” I walk up to her trying to get a picture. I can’t get the camera app to work. Instead it has found pictures of her already in the photo gallery. I realize that we know her, she goes to the same school as the kids.
Jump scene
We now have the baby and the elementary age girl but we can’t get to the car. Someone has taken a fork lift and totaled the car. I have the feeling we need to get moving quickly we are in danger. There is a sports team (elementary school age kids) all in red pulling out of the parking lot. Their vehicle is sketchy. It’s a driver’s seat with everyone just rolling around in a box. We jump in with them and head out.
Off Topic – I had this dream Sunday night. Our car that was in the dream, was totaled in real life on Tuesday.
