Expectations- Don’t know anything about this author but the blurb sounded cute so I gave it a shot.
This is a really cute story. Note passing with a mysterious male. With the benefit of editing a book.
The pacing is good and kept me interested. Got to learn some about the life of editors, the female’s leads interesting friend and family. We don’t actually get to know the male lead all that well, we just get the understanding that the female lead has learned about him.
There was like one kiss at the end of the book. I appreciate that the author didn’t just throw physical stuff in there when it wasn’t needed.
Off Topic – I’m going to add a new category for this one called, “Safe for Vanessa.” She shy’s away from the really hot and heavy stuff. We will see how long it takes before she notices.
