Expectations – Not my normal kind of read.  The blurb says “Available only on audio, because as Larson says, ghost stories are best told aloud.” So of course I had to check it out.

I kept falling asleep.  Not because it’s a bad story.  It was just the narrator’s voice.  Great for sleeping.  Things happened pretty unexpectedly and quickly.  So much so that you miss it.  You know that you missed something.  I had to decide if it’s worth going back to figure it out.  I stopped going back to figure it out after the first couple of times but liked the story enough to continue.

The most interesting part is the narrators note.  He says, he based the minimal romance on himself.  I think it would be fun to have the actual author as a male lead in a romance and give him a happily ever after.
