Expectation – From the book blurb you know that the female lead is a fortune teller and the male lead is a Marquess. Therefore, I’m not expecting anything realistic.
The first half of the book was really good. Both characters had personal growth with attraction building. They come together half way through the book. It seems like a good place for a happily ever after.
However, there is still half a book to go. Things get frustrating from there with bull sh*t hurdles. I stuck with it a few more chapters but ultimately skipped to the end for the actual happily ever after.
