First Impression – I was excited because I enjoy historical romances. It’s part of a series so if this book was good I had more books to read. It’s an author that has many books to choose from that I haven’t read before.
This book was a big disappointment. There will be no finishing the series. There will be no exploring the authors other book options. I didn’t like either lead character. The male lead is only defined by the ladies past infatuation. There is no development of the relationship. There is an elaborate oceans 11 plan to fix a non-existent problem at the end of the book. The pacing was poor.
